A complex STAR into Class B airspace can carry a dozen altitude and speed restrictions. An RNAV approach has step-down fixes, missed approach altitudes, and crossing restrictions that depend on the procedure variant loaded. Most avionics let you load the procedure and trust the FMS to fly it. They don't actively warn you when the airplane is about to bust a restriction.
Aware pulls the active procedure from your FMS or GPS. It parses every restriction in the published plate. It continuously checks the aircraft against them. When you're projected to cross a fix above the published altitude or below it, Aware tells you before the bust happens, not after.
Reads procedure data from Garmin's published-data interfaces. Uses current ADS-B position and barometric altitude. Compatible with RNAV/RNP procedures and conventional approaches.
Stable, predictable procedure adherence. Better data for your SMS or FOQA program. Less ATC intervention.
